The Falcons right now look like the worst offense in the NFL and there is no one to take any attention away from their star tight end. But in 2022, with Marcus Mariota at quarterback, I have little confidence Pitts is going to be more than a middling starting tight end in Fantasy. 2 overall, and there are very smart people saying this, I'm not saying they're wrong, and I would maybe even agree if you're a rebuilding team. Most feedback I get on Pitts suggests he should be valued as a first-round pick, possibly as high as No. It is truly rare to see that combination. In fact, they're all top five at their position in my re-draft rankings and they're amongst the youngest at their position. Then again, Jonathan Taylor, Justin Jefferson, and Ja'Marr Chase have all shown league-winning ability, have very few questions about their short-term future, and should be on average-at-worst offenses in 2022. Here, before we get to the actual chart, I want to talk about a few things that stood out to me, and maybe cut off a couple of complaints I expect are coming.įirst, it's kind of startling to see the gap between the top three and everyone else. If you want analysis of those moves, I got to a lot of them in the position ranking updates, which were all updated on March 21 and 22. But hey, that's what I'm here for, right?
